This May Saruni is celebrating the passionate guides and dedicated staff on Mother’s Day, along with sharing the exciting news that expansions have been made to Saruni Wild and Saruni Rhino during the low season and with the recent release of the 2024 rates you can now plan for your next season Saruni Safari!
To celebrate Mother’s Day on May 1st, Saruni has taken the opportunity to appreciate the talented and hardworking men and women of Saruni. The team plays a crucial role is ensuring that guests have the best safari experience, that wildlife is protected and conserved, and that the communities they work with thrive socially and economically. From the amazing waiters, room stewards and chefs, to the skilled guides, dedicated conservationists and community liaisons every member of the Saruni Team brings their unique talents and expertise to the table.
In other news Saruni us excited to share the latest refurbishment and expansion plans for Saruni Wild and Saruni Rhino! At Saruni Wild, the facilities are expanding to accommodate more guests while maintaining the signature style and comfort. Saruni are increasing the size of the family tent to include a spacious lounge area where families can gather and relax. In addition, the main dining and mess area are expanding to create more space and elevate the ambiance and dining experience. On top of that two new double tents are being added to the camp growing the capacity from eight guests to twelve. The camp is located in the heart of the Masai Mara plains, on the border between Lemek and Mara North conservancies.
Simirarily at Saruni Rhino, the accommodation is expanding with the construction of a fourth Banda or room. Banda Four will be a large double room with the same décor and feel as the existing bandas, but with a more spacious living area. It is built very close to the waterhole, offering stunning views of the lugga on both ends from the larger veranda. Saruni Rhino offers several diverse experiences, including the first black rhino tracking experience in East Africa. This incredible walking safari provides a thrilling adventure and the opportunity for guests to actively contribute to the protection of this iconic species.
