Let us tell you a bit about the wonderful Lengishu House. Located in one of Kenya’s most pristine and utterly beautiful private conservancies, Borana Conservancy, this intimate house, with just 6 rooms, sleeping a total of 12 guests is the ultimate property for a trip of a lifetime. Not only does it have the most stunning view, perched on top of a hill overlooking the conservancy (the sunsets and sunrises are mind-blowing), the list of activities you can enjoy are also some of the best and will be the most memorable.

With over 32,000 acres of bush to explore, Lengishu’s location is also home to Kenya’s most successful rhino sanctuary too. You can even embark on a rhino tracking excursion, a really humbling activity to enjoy. The guides are brilliant with tonnes of knowledge about the local flora and fauna, so this guided walk becomes a walking safari at the same time. Approaching these rare and almost prehistoric animals, it really brings to home how incredible our world is. The rhino project has also just announced that there have been three rhino births between last August and October. Which goes to show just how successful this project is. Two female black rhinos were born in August and September with another male white rhino being born in October. This brings the rhino population on the Lew-Borana Landscape to 240 with a total of 27 rhino births in 2021. A booming rhino population accompanies by exceptional leopard, cheetah and lion sightings make for an incredible wildlife viewing. Borana Conservancy is home to many notable game, complemented by breath-taking scenery with Mt Kenya as the star of the show. By staying at Lengishu House guests are having a positive impact on wildlife conservation, securing sustainable habitat, and building local livelihoods.
