Sand Rivers & Fundu

Sand Rivers, located in the vast Selous Game Reserve in Southern Tanzania, is the epitome of relaxation, their friendly and highly trained team will work with you to plan your days as you go, ensuring you get to see the best of this breathtaking area.  The lodge’s setting, right on the banks of the of the Rufiji River, coupled with the open fronted design of the 5 spacious riverside cottages allows for some spectacular wildlife viewing, in particular the pod of inquisitive hippo, regular visitors to the river, is a sight not to be missed!  A short hop to the island of Pemba sits the small privately owned boutique hotel of Fundu Lagoon, offering natural barefoot luxury in a unique Tanzanian setting. Richards River Camp & Waterlovers
