Beach, please!

Today has been tough as we have spent some of the morning selecting our top island and beach getaways, what we would do to be at some of these places right now.

Azura Quilalea – Mozambique

Azura Quilalea, a private island in Mozambique Is a dazzling Indian Ocean escape. With 9 open plan and spacious seafront villas to form the accommodation on this untouched archipelago marine sanctuary. All of the villas have their own energy control system whereby guests can take control of their own eco-footprint. An excellent spot for watersports especially diving and snorkeling with plenty of marine life just off the beach and land based activities include beach dinners, cultural trips and relaxing spa treatments.

Fundu Lagoon – Pemba, Tanzania

Fundui Lagoon is a small boutique hotel on Pemba Island, just a plane or boat ride away from Zanzibar. With 18 tented safari style rooms that look out over the Indian ocean, Fundu is a remote, peaceful place to take in the islands natural surroundings. Pemba features some of the best snorkeling and diving sites in Africa but guests can also enjoy wakeboarding, windsurfing, kayaking and fishing.

Miavana – Madagascar

Miavana is set on approximately 37,000 acres on Nosy Ankao in northern Madagascar and it took 4 years to build this impressive eco resort, the island consists of 14 luxury villas and the main village.
