One Nature Serengeti celebrates the end of its 7th year, what a great achievement for this fantastic team, and even better news – they’re opening a new camp in 2024! Their extremely high end camps have been getting fantastic feedback and the location of the new camp is extremely exciting in terms of the Wildebeest Migration – from July-October One Nature Mara River will be in the prime spot for viewing this huge wildlife spectacle.
“Hold onto your safari hats because we are entering 2024 with a wild roar of excitement – our 7th anniversary. For seven incredible years, One Nature has been on a mission to craft extraordinary moments in nature.
We are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated opening of One Nature Mara River in June 2024! A luxury safari lodge where the Serengeti’s heartbeat meets the tranquil embrace of the Mara River. Nestled in the Northern Serengeti, One Nature Mara River offers a front-row seat to the Great Wildebeest Migration Crossing.
Looking back at 2023, we went absolutely “wild” for wildlife adventures! Safari game drives through the Serengeti felt like stepping into the Lion King movie, especially when encountering the majestic Big Five. Every moment became a treasured snapshot in the wild album of life.
We cranked up the “tented luxury” experience, turning our tented lodges into magic portals to the lap of luxury. With bedrooms that redefine comfort, we gave our guests a “tent-tastic” escape into nature’s warm embrace.
In keeping with our tradition of yearly upgrades, 2023 was no exception. We introduced our brand-new, state-of-the-art gym. This remarkable addition truly reflects our unwavering commitment to well-being and comfort.
As we kick off our 7th year, we are enthusiastic to continue our quest to deliver extraordinary wildlife experiences. Thank you for being part of the One Nature family, and here is to a year filled with even more adventure, luxury, and unforgettable moments!”
The Serengeti remains one of our most popular safari destinations, now the challenge is keeping guests away from large crowds and busier areas. We have lots of options in the Serengeti where you won’t see many/if any other vehicles but will see the vast rolling plains, endless wildlife and even the migration. As with all our safaris, if you want the best of the best in the Serengeti we strongly advise booking over a year in advance – all of our camps are small and those in the more remote locations fill up fast, because the area they’re in is so desirable.
We also encourage those looking for remote locations not to forget that you can now fly directly from the Serengeti to Ruaha, in Southern Tanzania – the combination of these two huge and unique national parks is pretty unbeatable in terms of variety. Ruaha is a vast area with very few camps and tonnes of wildlife, especially cats. It is a paradise on earth and this direct flight now opens up the Northern Tanzania circuit and the Southern Circuit. We cannot recommend this combination highly enough – it really is mind blowing.
