Sabi Sabi Game Reserve
Sabi Sabi An award-winning Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand area, with four luxury game lodges with an Amani Spa: Selati Camp, Little Bush Lodge, Bush Lodge and the iconic Earth Lodge. Excellent game viewing in the Sabi Sand Reserve and fantastic service.
Ultra luxurious re modelled suites at Little Bush Camp
It is now 10 years since Little Bush Camp, the newest lodge in the Sabi Sabi Portfolio, first opened its doors to guests. In celebration of this anniversary, Little Bush Camp has undergone a major transformation. Taking its place as a beautifully intimate lodge with its own unique personality, the recently refurbished suites at Little Bush Camp are perfectly positioned between the eclectic “Today” design of Bush Lodge, and the avant garde “Tomorrow” philosophy of Earth Lodge.
The 6 stunning suites have been remodelled and upgraded. They are ultra-luxurious with an air of African sophistication and a chic finish. Designer Derrick Tabbert patterned the new look around ‘African adornment’, and has introduced a myriad details, special features and interesting touches throughout. Beautifully carved wooden tables and decorative pieces add extra appeal to a fascinating mix of textures chosen to reflect the warm African tones. Each suite now boasts enormous, bright en-suite bathrooms.
Floor to ceiling glass French doors have replaced the walls around the bath on 3 sides, creating the perception that the indoor bath is actually part of the outdoor shower. And for those who may prefer to shower indoors, the huge indoor rain shower is glass walled to continue the open effect. African influence is brought in via the ‘suri’ light, a gorgeous hanging light, its interlocking circles fashioned after the earrings worn by the women of the Suri Tribe in Ethiopia.
Flowing from the luxurious interior is an inviting private wooden deck overlooking the Msuthlu River and beautiful ancient riverine trees. Here one finds the ultimate indulgence, Little Bush Camp’s signature spa bath. This is the spot to unwind, the cool water a delicious place to relax and have a bush cocktail. A comfortable day bed with soft cushions and other outdoor easy chairs are just perfect for taking a nap, catching up on some reading, or just lounging, watching and listening to the surrounding animal and birdlife.
This exciting transformation has taken Little Bush Camp to a whole new level, a stunningly beautiful Sabi Sabi lodge in a league of its own.
Bush Lodge Luxury Villas
Bush Lodge has long been known as a premier safari destination. Over the years the lodge has been evolving, renewing its exquisite African Style architecture and décor, rebuilding its guest accommodation to remain a magnificent luxury home in the bush.
As an extension of the philosophy of providing the ultimate in luxury, Sabi Sabi are proud to unveil the Bush Lodge Luxury Villas – lavish accommodation which includes 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, lounge, library, dressing room, patio and pool.
The two new Luxury Villas are available now, offering the epitome of opulence, space and magnificent design. The Villas are extraordinarily expansive, architecturally interesting and beautifully decorated in the eclectic Bush Lodge style. Within each suite a huge master bedroom with king size draped four-poster bed leads into a dressing area furnished with hide covered chairs and ottomans. A little further and one steps into a truly unique, palatial, floor to ceiling glass walled bathroom. The two enormous side-by-side baths have sliding windows opening to the outdoors. His and hers vanities, armchairs and an open ‘rain’ shower complete this incomparable room. But there is even more: an outside al-fresco shower, almost invisible, tucked away in an indigenous tree. The second bedroom is also beautiful, with twin draped beds and comfortable cushioned window box seating to relax and watch the great outdoors. This bedroom features another private en-suite bathroom, which includes a bath and rain shower. The suite also boasts a sizeable, wonderfully furnished lounge/library, with beautiful chairs and couches upholstered in the calm, muted colours of the bushveld. Completed by a huge patio area complete with plunge pool, these luxury villas are perfect for a larger group or family wanting the intimacy of a villa with the trappings of an exclusive lodge. Guests staying in the Luxury Villas have their own private game vehicle, ranger and tracker.
Mandleve – A fitting tribute at Bush Lodge
As a tribute to Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve’s much loved, beautiful, gentle and patient elephant bull Mandleve (a Tsonga nickname for the tear in his ear) the spectacular newly refurbished Presidential Suite at Sabi Sabi’s Bush Lodge is named the Mandleve Suite. A fitting name for a truly exceptional and memorable accommodation experience. With huge rooms looking out onto the bushveld, the suite is, quite simply, stunning. Raw tree trunks support the interior walls and add a fascinating touch of the bushveld to the décor. Chandeliers alongside the draped bed illuminate the expansive bedroom with its beautiful carved wooden furniture. The vast, surprisingly furnished and stylish bathroom has a temptingly deep bathtub, and includes both indoor and outdoor showers.
The Mandleve Presidential Suite is an ultra-luxury suite perfect for honeymooners or those looking for sumptuous accommodation. Its spacious interior comprises a huge bedroom with king-size bed, beautiful en-suite bathroom with outdoor shower and open plan lounge leading onto a private patio and private pool, and, of course, a private safari vehicle with personal guide and tracker complete the Mandleve Suite experience. A must for those who desire only the very best.

Better than ever – The EleFun Children’s Centre
Families with children have always been welcomed at Sabi Sabi’s Bush Lodge and the EleFun Centre, which is a fully fledged child facility within the lodge environs, fosters children’s awareness and appreciation of nature. The centre was designed by childcare professionals who set about creating a space that is fun, safe and educational. There are hands-on interactive programmes to suit all age groups. The EleFun Centre is filled with learning opportunities which all of Sabi Sabi’s young visitors have the chance to experience. Age appropriate bushveld activities and “edutainment” are designed and supervised by qualified staff and include interesting bushcraft subjects – animals, bugs and birds, tracking, map-reading – a long list of environmentally sensitive subjects that every child will find fascinating.
With both indoor and outdoor areas, the centre is secure and has ample space to indulge their energy levels. While set itineraries take place every morning and afternoon, children are welcome to enjoy the care centre between formal sessions. Parents can relax and enjoy the incredible safaris, get pampered in the spa, or just kick back and enjoy some private time, knowing that their children are being cared in their own special bushveld experience.
