Ready and set for the up and coming new year? Singita Faru Faru is! The stunning interior designers from Singita have been hard at work on the new interior design of Singita Faru Faru, incorporating a ‘back-to-basics’ theme on colour and an organic shape with regards to the reshaped architecture of the property, all embracing the stunning natural surroundings of the beautiful Serengeti.

‘The combination of Scandinavian simplicity and traditional African craft underpins the striking update of Singita Faru Faru which will be reopening its doors at the beginning of next week – just in time for Christmas!’

‘Danish interior design was the starting point for the exquisite reimagining of the lodge which fuses clean, streamlined spaces with warm, tactile elements and honours its astounding wilderness setting.

‘Shaped organically with its main focus on the waterhole below, the new architecture of the lodge makes a bold but enchanting statement, enhanced by the creative us of locally-sourced natural materials to create rich, cosy layers throughout.’

‘The new look of Singita Faru Faru Lodge features back-to-basics colour palette of bone, ivory, nude and clay. Touches of the clean, crisp geometry of African tribal pattern add to the contemporary feel and nods towards the evolution of modern design on the continent.’

‘New central areas, including a signature Singita ‘bar-deli’ and an enclosed lounge which offers a retreat from the shimmering plains of the Serengeti will encourage guests to come together to drink, eat and enjoy the breath-taking views.’

‘More expansive living and dining areas and an interactive kitchen will add a new dynamic to the gourmet experience, while open seating areas will all be pulled forward for closer engagement with nature.’

‘Guests at the reimagined Singita Faru Faru Lodge have exclusive access to 350,000 acres of a pristine Serengeti Mara ecosystem – a spectacular conservation area preserved in partnership with the Singita Grumeti Fund.’
