Faru Faru River Lodge has the feel of a Zanzibar retreat with small beaches leading down to crystal clear swimming pools, with views of the bush and the Grumeti River. It’s quite a contrast but it works. True barefoot luxury in the bush, with yet again another Michelin star chef. The lodge is rustic, and each room has a wall dedicated to glass, so sweeping views of the surrounding bush can be enjoyed at all times, a small shady verandah provides relaxing rest from the day time heat.
