Some may find it hard to choose where to go following on from their safari. You have just had 6 days where you have been inundated with the most incredible sights, smells and sounds from the African bush, you have either stayed in one place or combined two unique and varied locations to make the most of your time. However, it has now come to choose where you would like to go after your incredible time on safari. Somewhere to relax, that is relatively easy to get to travelling wise. There are numerous options, but we wanted to tell you about the Seychelles, in particular Fregate Island.
Fregate Island is the perfect place to end up after your safari in Africa. Here you can walk along some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. You can also walk through lush tropical forests with vibrant greens, earthy damp smells and exotic sounds. A place where you can properly sit back, relax and let nature wrap her warm arms around you and take you to a place you will be reluctant to return from. Imagine giant tortoises just strolling past you on their way to their next bite to eat – as you go on your merry way to sample fresh fruits and locally caught fish. There are so many different types of activities to do on Fregate Island, and you can fill all day with different things to do such as round the island races in hobie cats, scuba diving, deep sea fishing and exploring the local forest trails which are fit to burst with indigenous, beautiful wildlife you will not find anywhere else – almost continuing your safari experience from Africa. How about joining the local Conservation team on a ‘Turtle-Tagging-Mission’ or perhaps a night walk through the jungle.
On the other hand, you can sit back and relax and enjoy this intimate place and the tranquil surroundings. Fregate Island offers around seven white, sandy, beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters and an abundance of tropical flora and fauna, akin to what you would be likely to find in the Garden of Eden, I’m sure!
