Many of our wonderful clients like to finish off their luxury safari with a fantastic luxury beach holiday – in East Africa this is very easy as both Zanzibar and the Kenya Coast is easily reachable from any of our luxury safari camps and lodges. Here we outline a few of our favourites. We tend to lean towards smaller boutique properties which are able to maintain the high level of personal and pampering service our clients receive when on safari at any of our amazing properties. Of course there are many more luxury East Africa beach lodges which are magical, but here are our favourites:
Situated on the magnificent white sands of Diani Beach, on Kenya’s South Coast, Water Lovers comprises eight spacious cottages and a self contained villa with fully equipped kitchen, all with a private veranda offering stunning Indian ocean views. A private, previously uninhabited island 5k from the east coast of Zanzibar, affords Mnemba Island its deserved title of one of the best, most exclusive beach lodges in Africa. Mnemba Island has successfully achieved the perfect balance, the opulence of an exclusive resort with ultimately the best in barefoot luxury. It’s what tropical dreams are made of!
