Ibo Island Lodge

Ibo Island is steeped in ancient architecture, history and culture, offering a great holiday escape. Being a potential world heritage site Ibo island Lodge has kept as much of the original Mozambique architectural features as possible. At Ibo Island there are four types of accommodation available;

The Sea Facing Rooms

High ceilings and sea views framed by folding French doors that open out straight onto the white sandy beaches.

The Historical Rooms

These two rooms are garden facing and are the original Lodge rooms, with a large verandah that leads to the plunge pool in the garden.

The Garden rooms

These rooms step out from huge verandas into lush tropical gardens with chunky palm trees that provide shade around the dip pool.

Villa Paradiso

Dating back to the Colonial times Villa Paradiso has 5 en-suite bedrooms and can be booked privately with your own Chef and Butler.

The food at Ibo Island is quite something, an abundance of seafood and special traditional Mozambique dishes on offer as well as a range of different dining spots it’s a great food destination.
