What’s the difference: Selinda sits in a huge private concession, we believe freedom to explore the bush from different angles is absolutely crucial. One cannot get a true feeling of anything unless you’ve seen it from foot, 4×4 and boat, and here you can do that. Selinda is excellent value for money and has one of our favourite bathtubs in Africa.

The wonderful Selinda Camp located on the banks of the eastern Selinda Spillway has been undergoing a wonderful refurbishment and has now reopened!

A truly relaxed and very luxurious tented safari camp has a superb way with how it blends both the classic tented bush camp with totally contemporary amenities. themed to resemble the traditionally thatched Sangwali village homes, with spears and shields lining the walls providing a ‘Robinson Crusoe-esque’ type theme throughout. Along with splashes of blues and crystal clear pools throughout the camp, Selinda has made sure to embrace everything surrounding her that has ultimately inspired her new design.

Activities include traditional walking safaris with extremely knowledgable guides, game drives in luxurious 4×4 vehicles, boat based activities and even if that isn’t enough, you have the possibility of ticking off more than 200+ species of birds that live and travel through on migratory routes through Selinda.
