The Bazaruto Archipelago is a smaller group of islands than its Northerly cousin (Quirimbas), with only six islands making up this idyllic tropical setting, The area offers unspoilt coral pink beaches and world class deep sea fishing, fly fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling. The Bazaruto Archipelago is a protected National Park and the islands within it are pristine and undeveloped. These islands are Bazaruto, Benguerra, Magaruque, Banque, Santa Carolina and Shell.
The Luxury Safari Company’s favourite lodge in the Bazaruto Archipelago is Azura – the Bazaruto Archipelago is a little further from East Africa than Northern Mozambique, so a day in between your safari and beach options will be required, unless you choose to travel to South Africa, which is also a fantastic safari option which we can help with.
