Snuggled into the side of the sandy river bank within the South Luangwa, immersed in wildlife rich area below the bows of acacia trees is Kakuli Camp. Similar to Luwi and Mchenja in style, consisting of thatched roofs and thatched walls, mosquito nets drape over the large cloud like beds. all en suite rooms with flushing loos and running water, all the while with unspoilt views of the south Luangwa.

Activities consist of morning and afternoon game drives, Kakuli also really encourages walking safaris and you can easily combine many camps with these excursions, stopping and staying a few nights at a range of different lodges and camps. You are also able to enjoy fly camping, where you will embark on a walking safari and stop over night within the banks of a dried up river bed with just the stars (and a mosquito net!) as your canopy (weather dependant.
