Chundukwa sits on the banks of the Zambezi, not far from the mighty Victoria Falls (30 mins away). Chundukwa is far enough away from Vic Falls that you don’t notice the other bustling tourists and really relax into the Zambian way of life. The birdlife here is extraordinary as are the views of the Zambezi River from your elevated open fronted cottages. An afternoon cruise to see the hippo and watch the sun go down is the perfect way to unwind.

The lodge is built to blend in with the local surroundings and instead of feeling like an intruder on the banks of this mighty river, you feel like a friend. The plunge pool is the perfect way to relax after seeing the wondrous falls.

From here you might like to game drive, walk, visit the croc and snake park, play golf or tennis, visit various curio shops or markets, see Livingstone Island and Pool, take an overnight canoe safari, fishing, take the African Queen River Cruise, take the jet extreme and cable lift adventure, horse trails, quad biking, microlight or helicopter over the falls, elephant back safari or walking with lions.
