The River Club is also know as The Zambezi House, an impressive Edwardian-style house with colonialism stamped all over it. The large dining room offers a grand dinner, or if you’d prefer have dinner on the deck overlooking the mighty Zambezi. The library is full of old books, games and other memorabilia which is fascinating.

The chalets are all named after people who each played their special part in the history of Zambia. All are West facing and take advantage of the spectacular African sunsets. Each room is open-plan and beautifully decorated with furniture and fittings made from Rhodesian teak wood and include wifi access, mini fridge with bottled water, digital safe, hairdryer, reading lamps, small library, writing desk and a sitting area. Large mosquito nets swathe the beds combined with an electric fan and air-conditioner/heating units to provide a comfortable flow of air above the beds. Each room has a bath, shower, shaver socket and “loo with a view” over looking the river. Screen doors can be opened to give unimpeded views for those wishing to capture the scenery on camera.

There are various rate options for staying at The River Club but if you are on the FULLY INCLUSIVE RATE the following activities are available to you at no extra cost. Tour of Victoria Falls, The Sunset Cruise, African Village Tour, Game Drives, Fishing Trips, Running Track

(there is a 2.2 kms running track around the property and it is well sign posted), Tennis Court, Wellness Centre.
