Cape Cadogan’s hallmark is the overall contemporary chic feeling found in the 12 luxuriously appointed en suite bedrooms. Decorated with an eclectic mix of current and antique furniture, dramatic fabrics are used to maximum effect. And just because attention to detail has been high on the design list, the suites have all been kitted out with the required mod cons – satellite TV, DVD players and ADSL internet access have not be forgone for aesthetics and guests can still find all the usual basics such as air conditioning, electronic safes, telephones and even the personal bar fridges and tea and coffee makers.

Cape Cadogan also has it’s own presidential suite in the shape of the Owners Villa. The space is decorated in a similar style to the main Hotel with fabrics and textures forming a rich woven carpet where the classic old world style of Cape Town meets the new beautiful café society. For guests looking for exclusivity, Cape Cadogan’s villa is it as the private space – including an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen – has only recently been made available to select guests and friends of the owner. Wide doubled framed doors open out onto a private deck and plunge pool and guest’s only necessary link to the outside world is when morning breakfast and the paper gets delivered. Perfect for those wishing to get away from it all.
