Tanda Tula is currently undergoing some huge refurbishments to be redesigned with a lighter footprint. The traditional Meru-style tented accommodation we have grown to love is having a modern and wild makeover, letting in light and the surrounding views and we cannot wait to see the finishing article when Tanda Tula re-opens their doors in May 2023.

Timbavati is perhaps lesser known than the Sabi Sands but also borders (unfenced), the Kruger, so the game viewing here is also phenomenal. Tanda Tula is a home from home that will welcome you with open arms and be sad to see you go. Nothing here is too much trouble and atmosphere is one of a family, and very informal. The guides are excellent and the food delicious. There is a fantastic comfy hide just beside the waterhole which is the ideal place to watch the wildlife.
