Lupita Island is a 130 acrea private island in Lake Tanganyika, lavishly decorated with thatched roofs, and uninterrupted views of Africa’s second largest lake. There are an array of water sports, as well as fascinating visits to the local tribes and fishermen. Each room has a waterfall shower and open bathrooms, as well as the front of the bedroom being completely open. Snorkelling and scuba diving can also be fantastic here, as can water skiing and sailing. Alternatively take the lake cruiser out, and fish off the deck, whilst enjoying your cocktail – walking trails are also a great way to get to know the surrounding area.
