Namiri (meaning big cat in Swahili) Plains Camp is a very exciting new addition to the Serengeti safari circuit and we’re exceptionally excited about it. Opening in July 2014 this luxury camp is situated in an area which has been closed for twenty years – Frankfurt Zoo had been using the area for big cat research projects and as a result there is an abundance of big cats here.
The concession is completely private so you won’t see another soul and the guiding here will be advanced – guests will also have the chance to get out into the bush with the actual zoologists and researchers themselves which is completely fascinating.Show Less
