Namiri (meaning big cat in Swahili) Plains Camp is situated in an area which has been closed for twenty years – Frankfurt Zoo had been using the area for big cat research projects and as a result there is an abundance of big cats here.
The concession is completely private so you won’t see another soul and the guiding here will be advanced – guests will also have the chance to get out into the bush with the actual zoologists and researchers themselves which is completely fascinating.
