Chem Chem Lodge is an extremely professional operation with the best guides, gourmet food and five star service, but it still manages to keep that homely and welcoming feel, and guests feel relaxed – the atmosphere is informal. It’s location on it’s own vast private nature reserve means everything from walking, night drives, bush meals and authentic cultural experiences are available here – it is one of Tanzania’s gems and allows guests to get out of the vehicle and experience Africa as it should be, with real freedom.
Take a romantic dinner for two in the bush, or have a relaxing massage in the shade of a baobab tree – whatever it is you’re looking for Chem Chem can provide it. The food is absolutely delicious and the swimming pool is the perfect place to while away the hours in between spa treatments and action packed game drives.
Chem Chem is set in a private concession so you can explore by foot, on horses or in a luxury 4×4 safari vehicle. Picnics, bbqs and sundowners out in the bush are an absolutely highlight.
