The Manor
Location: Shangri-La Estate, adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Northern Tanzania
No of rooms: 20 cottages and a 3 bedroom family suite
Style: Cape Dutch architecture with Afro-European decor
Highlights: Exclusive premier luxury with everything you could possibly need at your fingertips, extremely beautiful estate
Dining: Gourmet food as and when you wish
What’s the difference: This lodge is uber luxurious but we particularly loved the Jacaranda trees surrounding the garden with their sweet smelling flowers, and going for a ride or walk around the coffee plantation is just wonderful.
The Luxury Safari Co Award for: Jacaranda Tree heaven.
